Vaccination Certificate Policy.

Vaccination Certificate Policy
3 December 2021

The Elmwood Park Bowling Club has adopted the Vaccination Certificate Policy.
The decision was made to put the health and safety of the club members and visitors first, by encouraging everyone to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
This is to reduce the risk of exposure and transmission of COVID-19. It is important that we provide members and visitors with a safe environment, in which they can play bowls and socialise.

As a condition of entry to our facility any person aged 12 years or over must:

Provide their vaccination pass when requested by a club representative.

Variations to this condition of entry:
• A vaccination exemption has been granted by the Ministry of Health.
• Evidence of a COVID-19 vaccination received other than in New Zealand will be accepted if the evidence is standard in the relevant country, and it has been accepted by the Ministry of Health.

The Elmwood Park Bowling Club reserves the right to restate its position as we learn and understand more about how New Zealand manages the fight against COVID-19 in our community.

This policy is effective immediately.

From 11.59pm Wednesday the 13th of April, all of New Zealand will move into ‘Orange’ on the COVID-19 Protection Framework.

What does this mean for bowling clubs?

  • Indoor gatherings no longer have capacity or distancing requirements
  • Mask wearing is now optional
  • Clubs remain able to welcome all members (including unvaccinated)
  • No QR scanning required

At all levels, the testing and isolation requirements remain as they are now. If you have symptoms or someone in your household tests positive, isolate and get tested.
