20 – 10 – 20   Success in the first Bowls3Five game of season three against last year’s tournament winners Stoke Thunder.
The team was L. Pascoe   M. Boyd   L. Eathorne.
Stoke dominated the first set, 4 – 8, but the Saints fought back in the second set, 8 – 3, forcing a tiebreak which they won 1 – 0. Shannon McIlroy failed to get shot with his final bowl, a surprising miss and one you would expect him to get nine times out of ten.
  Congratulations Saints.
